Leadership: Ian and Geraldine McLean

Kings Community Church, Lancaster

"Our heart is that we see revival in the nations and especially here in the UK"...

Ian and Geraldine became Christians in 1978 whilst attending a Brethren Assembly in Merseyside, England. They are mum and dad to three children and nana and granddad to eight grandchildren who are much loved and great fun.

On moving to Blackpool, Lancashire, because of Ian’s work in the NHS, they became members of Blackpool Christian Fellowship in 1984 which later sent them out to Bible College in Birmingham in 1986.

Since that time Ian has served in various leadership roles, with much valued support and encouragement from Geraldine, in the Midlands and Blackpool; Ian was also Chairman of Trustees to Helping Hand, a charity which reaches out to those with ‘life controlling’ problems and addictions. Ian and Geraldine have a heart for India and have the privilege of serving there on short term mission.

“Our heart is that we see revival in the nations and especially here in the UK. To this end we see the church’s role in proclaiming and living out the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to see the church gathering as a loving community of worshipping, learning and serving disciples. We desire to see the church functioning as the body Christ intended, reaching out to the lost, with a real concern for the poor and needy, and seeing His love, power, grace and glory transforming lives in a way only Christ can.”
